Balance Your Writing Life: Stress Your Characters
Balance Your Writing Life: Stress Your Characters
Suffering for your writing is neither necessary nor healthy. But staying motivated can be hard—especially during the challenges of the last two years. Simultaneously, we want our characters to overcome big challenges and face hardships, even when we want our own lives to be smooth sailing.
Join Allegory Senior Editor Elena Hartwell Taylor as she discusses ways to stay motivated, balance writing, work, and life, and create reasonable goals, along with applying those same concepts to your characters, in reverse, writing them out of balance, with big obstacles to overcome.
