Writing Distinct Character Voices
Writing Distinct Character Voices
Distinct voices create memorable and realistic characters that readers adore. Agents are hungry for manuscripts with dialogue that pops off the page. Making your characters' voices unique and engaging can mean the difference between a book contract and a rejection.
But how exactly do you write a memorable character with a unique voice? What makes some writer's dialogue stand out from the slush pile, increasing the chances for attention from agents, contracts with editors, and five-star reviews from readers?
Join Christine Pinto, developmental editor with Allegory Editing, for an in-depth look at practical strategies to infuse each of your characters with a distinct and memorable voice.
